The best flatshare

Hi !

We are 6 to do this blog, but I've made the choice to go for an adventure and take a flat with 5 strangers. And I think I would have never spent a such perfect Eramus without them.

But I'll just show you my little flat that I am more than satisfied, at Baross utca 74 (or B74) :

Like this it doesn't look like much but it's kind of the opposite, also we were well placed (near M4 for school, tram and bus 9 which stopped just in front of my door). Anyway in this city nothing is very far, fastfood, supermarket, bar, club, everything is between 5 and 20mn maximun.

Inside we were well settled thanks to this huge livingroom/kitchen were we spent most of our time together for every kind of activities, even if most of the time we were outside to enjoy this stunning city and everything it has to offer.

Then let me introduce my little family :

Here we are! End of May, when we were still all together.

So the first guy on the left is Victor, my Nigerian flatmate. He's been in Budapest for 3 years now and before working he has done an Erasmus where he fell in love with the city. He used to cooked very typical african dishes that we sometimes tried, always delicious for 1 second then your mouth was totally burnt and you had to stop eating.

He's always been very calm and smiling, even when we were dying of his food !

Then the first girl in blue dress is Defne from Cologne in Germany (and also a bit Turkey), like me she arrived there to do an Erasmus during the second semester, I can't remember what she studied but it was not very important back there.

Because Victor was often working the whole day, she was often a lot with us, so only french, but we're nice so we spoke in english only for her. Even though thanks to us she's speaking few words of french now.

The second girl is Manon my french little sister from Rennes in France, she has done 1 full year of Eramus and she studied "Internationnal relationship" or as she says "I don't know what I'm doing it's totally different from France. I think I've never seen her with a sad face, she's always laughing and even for very bad jokes. But under this smile there is quite a smart girl who is going again 1 year abroad to study in Toronto (yes I'm jealous).

Then the too tall guy next to me is Hugo my best bud' from Lorient in France, he came in Budapest with Manon because they are doing the same thing in France so he has also done 1 year here. He's one of the most funny guy I've ever met even if he can do really weird things sometimes (but so do I it's okay). Thanks to him we ate healthy more than one and made me discover that cooking is good AND funny, also being a big fan of sport he made me starting to do so at gym (which is an exploit).

Then the last guys is my flatmate Camille from Paris (France of course) who also came here in February, he's doing Art-design school and is a BIG fan of japan culture.

So much that he was always cooking asian food (very nice ones) and he also left us 2 weeks to have a trip in Japan, but he brought us a lot of japanese candies and funny things so I'm okay with it. And he's also a very nice DJ who played with his association in some of the best club of Budapest (A38 and Corvin club), so we had the chance to be guests and even have the right to go in the backstage !

So that's is about my flat and who were inside, actually no there is still a lot to tell (way too much). I could have used many pictures but I think this last one sums up most of our spirit (and it's one the only that I could show on a blog). Thanks !
